NerdLab, a non-profit based in Ghent, organised a contest for Ghent Lightfestival to project anything on a five-meter tall low-poly tree, made by the organisation. I ended up winning the contest, and got the opportunity to show my work at Ghent Lightfestival, with 800.000 visitors over 5 days. Loved working on this and working with the people at NerdLab.

Concept: Filling each face of the low-poly tree with a musical instrument. The style I chose was steampunk, giving me some great options with mechanics and materials. Linked to the projections was audio, made with ableton and external synthesizers. Modelling in blender, animation and real-time rendering in Touchdesigner.
